What the assignment covers
Coverage for occupied rental communities during a qualifying impairment, where residents stay in their homes and sleep through the watch. Officers work a route through common areas: corridors, stairwells and landings, laundry and trash rooms, mechanical and boiler rooms, parking structures and building exteriors, building by building where the community has several. Officers do not enter private apartments. Each round is logged by building and area, and the log is provided to the management office for the property's records.
