The short version
Who texts you. North Eastern Security Force, a Virginia DCJS-licensed security business, licence #11-6371.
What about. Two things and nothing else. If you sent a coverage request: scheduling, officer assignment and shift confirmations for that request. If you applied for a job: arranging a call, interview times and the status of your application.
What never. NESF does not send marketing or promotional text messages, and does not text anyone who did not tick the optional box asking for them. Your number is never sold, rented or passed to anyone else’s marketing.
How you started getting them. Only by ticking the optional text message box on a form on this website. That box is never ticked for you, is never required, and leaving it alone has no effect on your request, your quote or your application.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message. It stops immediately and permanently.
What it costs. Nothing from us. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier, and message frequency varies.
Who to ask. Reply HELP, call 703-869-6213, or email [email protected]. For anything about a job application, [email protected].
Carriers are not responsible for undelivered messages
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier’s network and your handset, and neither is under our control. Never rely on a text message for anything urgent. If there is an active emergency or an immediate threat to life, contact the public emergency services. To reach NESF urgently, call 703-869-6213, which is answered at any hour.
Consent is never a condition
Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, of any service, or of being considered for a job. It is an option, offered because some people would rather get a shift confirmation by text than by email, and declining it costs you nothing.
How we handle your number, and everything else this website collects, is set out in the privacy policy. To reach us without texting, use the contact page or call 703-869-6213.
